wearing: jacket - Tatuum; button up - Monki; pants - Armani jeans; kicks - Adidas x Stan Smith

Yo, kiddos.

I just had my last but one exam of this summer session, oh, just only one left. You know, you gotta dress smart casual for these things so I'm back at it with matching tops and bottoms 'cause ain't anything easier than this. Looks really put together, right? Yet, never forget to add a cherry on top and put some hints of your personal style using accessories or prints.

Favourite Super 8 shortfilms on youtube

I can't express how obsessed I am with Gerard Way's old school videos for Hesitant Alien. And then Bertie Gilbert and Adrian Bliss published their Super 8 short films and I just fell into the devouring hole of being mesmerised and taken away by all that sweet and warm home-like feelings.
P.S. - if you dunno Super 8 is a vintage Kodak camera with 8mm motion picture format. It's no longer produced (but Kodak recently came up with a new version which is pretty impossible to obtain tho) but some people still use it and it makes everything look like it was shoot in 1950s. Oh, and it uses film stock, you guys.

So as per usual I watched as much Super 8 short films on youtube as I could. (which is a lot, man, believe me)

And now, for all you little vintage lovers and people lost in time, I present my favourite Super 8 short stories:

Adrian Bliss

"Super 8 - 2015"

 Bertie Gilbert

"At long last - Super 8"

Adrian Bliss

"Super 8 - Tokyo & New Orleans"

Ray Roberts

"Moments in Paris - Super 8 film"

Zack Hosseini

"Santa Monica on Super 8"

Kevin Schaefer
"Valentine (A short film shot on Super 8)"

Andrew Hillock
"Super 8"

Maxime Aubert
""Frontenac" (short film Super 8 mm tri-x)"

TTSvision"The Title Sequence - PayDay (Super 8 film)"

Mankie99
"Rare camera footage - the magic rolling board 1976 - (super 8 film) skateboard"

Jarbas Agnelli

"Super 8 - 1974"

Christofer Drew
"Super 8 tapes - 1"

Hjortfot
"Super 8 Ektachrome 64 Summer in Stockholm"

Mandrake 75
"A glimpse of Paris - clip (Super 8 film + video)"

WM Teh
"South Africa - Super 8"

Tommy Krappweis

""Die Tasche" - Erster Realfilm von Tommy Krappweis (Super 8 ca. 1984)"

P.S. - what are your fav Super 8 videos? Tell me, bros

Persona #3 Karen and The Babes

Heeeeeeyyyy, bro-bros!
Here I am again talking about cool people.
This time I decided to cheat and talk about three people instead of just one. Not because they are not great enough to be featured here singly but 'cause this trio is just goals. You'll understand why.

Hipster gang staring:
Karen Gillan - Luxury Boss Hipster
Matt Smith - Casual Smart Hipster
Arthur Darvill - Jack-of-all-trades Hipster

To start with, these babes stared in one the British classics Doctor Who together and man, oh man, such a lovely and edgy and cool crew. Enough of that to fall in love with them, I mean look

Okay, okay, they are sassy enough on their own. Matt and Arthur are so cute and hipsterish together that your eye hurts. True cinnamon rolls

And Karen, oh, her style is a source of inspiration for many people

But when they are together, their sass and sexiness is unstoppable. I bet you can smell those vintagy, neony vibes miles apart. Karen is a perfect bad ass bitch boss to look after these two babies goofing around. They are all really awesome from the films and series they play in to just their life styles and the fact that they could actually form a band. Oh boy, oh boy, one should definitely check out Arthur's music talent, he's basically like Joe Sugg of The YouTube Boyband.

Kisses,
Ivana

Grey Galaxy

wearing: jacket - Armani; tee - Christopher Kane; pants&sweater - Zara; shoes - Ailisa

Saturday post from me, whoa, more groundbreaking than sweater for summer.

Feels strange when it's summer but the sky is cloudy and weather reminds you more of a Fall season. So I wrapped myself in this majestic Zara duo (pieces of which you've already seen on this blog) and added a little bit of something to it with dis lovely socks. I think it's a must to have a matching look in your wardrobe because it's super easy to wear and saves you time when you in a hurry.

P. S. - still in the middle of my exam season, so sad, you guys...
Stay alive *ah ah ah ah stayin' alive*

Evening Blue Jazz

wearing: coat - Zara; button up - Bershka; jeans - DIY; loafers - Ailisa

Heeeeeeey, you guys.
I'm finally back with some outfits. I have to admit that it's been a long time since I've posted ma lovely looks to inspire you regularly but you can understand me 'cause exam season, oh man, so much stress. Anyways, here's some evening update when I randomly went out to have dinner because what a surprise I ran out of food. Yay to my laziness. Well, at least it was easy to style this blue monochromatic look. As I always say go for different shades of one colour and simple shapes and you'll success.

All of you suffering from nerve-wracking tests and exams, I'm with you, you can do it!
Good luck)
