Fashion and Style Inspiration: Art and Aesthetics

Bonjour my friends!

I'm finally back from my Europe adventures and that means my Monday and Friday series are back as well. If you have read any of my previous Monday posts then you that I like talking mostly just about people here (like, day, that's the most logical thing) but today I wanted to tackle a different side of all these. There are a lot of creative people that find there inspiration in nature, art and literally anything, honestly, same works for our everyday looks and outfits 'cause we're all artists guys, we create our own lives. Okay now, before it goes too deep, let's dig in.
Of course you guys are better at being up to date with news and info than I am so you probs know that people create looks inspired by music, books, colours, art and just general aesthetic or theme. Maybe it may sound more complicated but you sure will have more room to be creative with your outfit. But like how do you really do it? Let me give you some tips.

By what can you be inspired?

1. Style

Everything has it's own style, weather it's minimalistic, baroque or avant-garde, your outfit, makeup and hair can be that style too. Oh my God, for real? Yeah, it's 2k17 outside looks is more like art than ever

2. Form and pattern

That's quite an interesting thing you can be inspired by and rather close to real fashion as well. Forms and patterns have been inspiring greatest fashion designers for many many years, like stripes are so in right now. So we can do the same and translate beautiful forms and rich patterns into our looks. For example this picture ^ defiantly would inspire a very simple but tight-fitting silhouette.

3. Texture

As there are different types of paint there are different types of materials your clothes is made from. I'm sure you can see some similarities between these two, like silk and water-colours or cotton and gouache. However, no need to make things so complicated because you work just the vibes of whatever you're being inspired by, is it light and fluffy or heavy, deep and vibrant? Work with dat

4. Colour palette

This one's pretty easy. There millions of colour palettes all over internet just for you from your fav movies, paintings, music clips and so on. Choose your favourite and work it

5. Emotions

Finally, for my most creative people. For the most part we as human beings feel different emotions from and about literally anything so why not use it to inspire your outfit, right? Are you feeling old school or maybe you wanna be mysterious and dark? Give yourself a make-over for a day.

Hope you got some inspo from this, dudes and dudets
Stay creative, stat true
Stay you
Love ya

How to create your dream Mood Board | Philosophical Life

Hello to you, on this lovely easter Sunday.
Today I'm tuning in to post something connected with my series of becoming a better you aka Philosophical Life (introduction and first 30 days here) as per usual. This time tho, I thought I'd give us some break from all the 30 Day challenges because we already have enough going on (30 day water and 30 day self-care challenges) and indulge into something more creative and timeless.
Yes, yes, yes. We're going to create a Mood Board which will help us with positive thinking, determination and also materialisation of our dreams (aka The Law of Attraction part).
Now, we're all different an there's no right or wrong way to approach this kinda of creative process but I can help you with a few tips and ideas.

First of, decide on a the base. There are endless variations on the bases you can use to create a Mood Board: it can be a cork board, a piece fabric, cardboard, grid wires or just your wall (why not), maybe just do it in digital form? Your choice. With that comes the way you wanna connect your pieces to your base: tape, pins, glue, something else or all of the above.

When we're done with basics it's time to get creative and just go with the flow. Major Pro Tip - create a Pinterest Board dedicated to your Mood Board (believe me, this helps). Print out photos or quotes, write them, draw, do your thing. Some things you can include: photos with family and friends, fav quotes, people who inspire you, aesthetically pleasing pics, places you wanna go, dream decor or anything you want, some memorable stuff (like old tickets or notes, etc.). You can print out photos and pics, cut them from journals, take polaroids w/ your friends. Also, you can easily find high quality photos and stock websites (like Picjumbo, Jay Mantri, Getrefe and etc.)
Now stick it all on your board, don't worry id it's looking messy 'cause
“It's a cruel and random world, but the chaos is all so beautiful.”
Anyways, if you're feeling extra anxious about then there's hundreds of free templates for your all over internet so relax and get creative, you also plan it out on your computer first for you perfectionists.

Remember there is no limit in time, size or anything else.
Your life is state of constant change and so are you.
I'll check in to talk about how's my Mood Board is doing, until then tweet, pin, comment and share with me your progress over any social media.

Evolve, stay you, stay true
