How Often to Clean: Towels | Philosophical Life

Bonjour, my friends!
The third part of Clean Life series is finally here. If you don't know what I'm talking about then check out this  Philosophical Life post where I explain everything about it. I do record you joining our 30 Days to Better You program if you want to get your life together one piece at time. Now, let's talk about cleaning.

There you have a usual pic with a table and some tips included. Let me now if you want a pdf version of it and I'll add it. As you can see this time we have towels as centre of our attention. There's basically only one to wash them aka in the washing machine at 60C temperature setting so I'll talk a little bit about why we need to clean them this often.

Kitchen Towels:
  • Yes, we need to change our kitchen towels nearly everyday because they pick up so much bacteria, even tho they seem clean. Kitchen is an area full different food and other products that we use and then wipe our hands and dishes with dem towels. Take your time and wash your kitchen towels at least once every 3 days.

Hand&Face Towels:
  • Yeah, you should have separate towels for hands and face because of sanitary reasons. You don't want to mess with your face, right? Even tho you use towels on your clean hands and faces you still leave some bacteria there and transferring it from one place to another with towel ain't good. This also goes without saying with not sharing your face towel with anyone else whether hand towels can actually be shared.

Bathroom Towels:
  • For this section goes the same rule as for hand and face towels. You generally need to wash them every 3-4 uses to keep them relatively clean. Having separate body and hair towels can seem a little bit extra but it's actually a good thing if you wash just your body more often than your hair, it helps you save some water.

Until next time, babes
