Bonjour, my friends!
Soon another month will come to an end and that means it's time to bring updated Philosophical Life once again with three new chapters. If you're new to my blog or this the first post you're reading about Philosophical then you definitely need to go check out two previous parts (First and Second). To be short, this is a monthly series where I ask you to join me on a journey to a better life and better you, it's never too late to start getting things together and loving yourself. On that positive not let's start.For this one I'm bringing kinda a lot but I'll do my best to keep it away from becoming overwhelming. We're going to talk about Ballet Barre, Journaling and Running. I'll also give you some tips and updated routines for already existing chapters. Also, officially new 30 Days start on June 28 but I'm posting a new part today so you have time to read and can get morally and physically ready.
Volume I
"Mens sana in corpore sano"
Body
Healthy food
Okay, okay, first stop in Body is our very familiar Healthy Food chapter. It's been only three months since we officially started but I wanna say, that I'm proud of you guys. We're nailing it. We've learned how to Drink More Water, currently trying to eat less salt and I also had a full week without any dairy products (about which you can read right here). If you ever feel stuck and start falling back into all your bad food habits, don't worry go back to the basics and just drink a lot of water 'cause it helps no matter what. On the other hand, we need to move further so I will be adding something new for these upcoming 30 Days. We'll try to eat less bad sugar (meaning candy, cakes, chocolate and so on) and focus on good sugars like fruits. As per usual I'm going to help you out with a corresponding post sometime during these 30 Days.
The Plank
The other month (aka at the begging of this 30 Days) we started with exercise finally. Have you done some plank? Be honest with yourself and me as well, no one's judging you. However, if you haven't practiced it at least a few times then this month will be kinda challenging for you. You still have a few days left so go read an article I wrote about plank and try complete three weeks in three days (it's totally possible it just needs some of your attention). Get your shit together because I've prepared a routine for us that will start on 28th with the appearance of Plank Post where you'll see all the plans and instructions. It's going to be a surprise, guys! Ohohoh
Ballet Barre
Whoa, whoa, new chapter is another exercise? This isn't funny! No, don't you guys get all sad and lazy, this exercise will change yo life. Ballet Barre has become really popular over the course of last couple of years and I can kinda see why. Essentially it's a routine based on actual ballerinas' routines, like those that they do for real Ballet, but it's an easier version for us mortals. It can seem pretty simple as it's not traditionally regarded as "hard" but irl it requires a lot of effort. With these beautiful exercise we'll get some stretch, strength and good posture with smooth graceful movements. I have tried it before and therefore can you recommend some of my fav routines and videos. More detailed explanation with a whole bunch of cool routines and youtube videos is coming to you in a few weeks. For now you can check this video for a reference.
Soul
Law of Attraction (new thought)
May I have your attention please, we are entering new dimension - Soul. First things first, our old friend Law of Attraction. Honestly, it's been one of the most productive chapters somehow so far. I don't how this happened but it sure is cool. You now know a few things about positive thinking, you can make your own Mood Board and we're finishing our 30 Day Happiness Challenge atm. A lot progress. In the light of all these I'm gonna let us have a much more relaxing month. Although, I have a little something for you coming soon that'll help test out some cool psychological theories, possibly become less depressed and find a cure for Resting Bitch Face syndrome.
Meditation
Oh yeah, meditation is back again. How did first 30 days go? I hope you at least took time to do one meditation per week, although, it's that type of an exercise that needs to be done everyday for better results. So get on with it this moth and don't forget about the apps that I recommended last time: 10 Day 10 min course by Headspace and Breathe for dealing with more specific problems. Our mind is a really complicated device and solving all the puzzles it created isn't possible in just a month so we're continuing our journey and exploring more. Before introducing new part to this chapter, I would like to say that we're all different and it feels that some kind of meditations don't feet chances are, they really don't and don't need to be worried about that. There're plenty of different techniques that you can try and find somethings that suits you personally. I'm here to help with that so don't feel like it's obligatory to love all the things I recommend, just give a try and see. With that in mind, I'm presenting to you Mindfulness. Yep, you heard me, these 30 Days we're going to get real mindful. Basically, with our fast everyday lives we tend to have to much thoughts, feelings and other random stuff, that tangle up together and it feels like millions of sponge bobs are running screaming in our hand. Mindfulness is here to deal with, it's like a part of meditation where you get sit down, relax and focus on the present moment and your thoughts. Go do that right now and later on I'll check on you with a helping post that'll give more instructions and tips.
Journaling
Now, here we are, this is our new chapter of the month in Soul dimension. By now you're probably familiar with journaling. It's really fun and also helpful. Writing things down can lead to admitting them and dealing with them, like what? As I just mentioned, we're different so your personality my be more of planner one the a freehand writer. Because this month is the first one for this chapter we'll start easy as usual and probably just have a chit-chat about different types and forms of journaling. Also, I thought that trying to figure our emotional state as well as social life would be a great thing so in a few weeks I'll give you a really interesting and cool way to do it. Right now tho, try to be mindful and think about your feelings, are you happy? Do you feel secure? How close you are to your friends and family? Do you have any hobbies? You can write down or not, do what you feel like doing.
The Connection
Yoga
Ah, finally, last dimension. You're probably getting a little bit overwhelmed right now but that's okay. This month I'm not adding anything new to yoga. You can do what you want, go over 30 Day Yoga Challenge once again, search for other routines or go to a public class. It's about your choice for these upcoming 30 Days. Just don't forget about it completely, listen to your body.
Clean Life
Alright, we've done a lot of things to have a clean environment this month. I'm proud. We deserve to relax a little bit. I will still post articles talking about cleaning, washing and all that stuff but just not as often. Remember, you can always check out my Big Cleaning Guide with all of useful info, tips, tricks and trackers. Don't roll your eyes but I'm adding something new this month. You'll love it and appreciate it. We're are going to take care of our body. I talk about showering, moisturising, healthy habits and a lot cool tips to stay young and look fresh.
Running
Ending this month's post with a new chapter in The Connection dimension. I think that summer is like one of the best times to start running because for some reason that's when I feel most motivated to move more. This type of exercise is of course targeted towards physical health but I put into the Connection because it has a positive on our mind as well. Running is your personal time to relax and think about stuff you should don't have time for. You may say that you are just not that type of person but I believe it's all lies, you're either lazy or can't find your perfect personal routine. For that we're going to seek help from others aka apps. It's 2k17 outside, might as well just use technology. There plenty of cool running apps on the market and you can try searching for you own favourite but for now I'm strongly recommending you an app cold Running or Running for weight loss, I personally tried it and going to use it for the next month. It's free and you can choose any program you want according to your physical state. I'll be using Start Runnig which includes a month of running 3 days a week for 30 minutes. Sounds good to me.
